 Certified Hand Therapist
Neil received his Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from Western Michigan University in 1997, and attained the status of Certified Hand Therapist in November, 2007. He has worked since January 1998 in a variety of health care settings, including acute care hospital, outpatient, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient orthopedic and home care. Most recently, Neil was employed at Guardian Home Care Services in Chattanooga, Tennessee as the Director of Therapy Services. Neil joined NWOS as a Certified Hand Therapist in June, 2010.
Neil has had many interests over the years which help him relate to different types of people and what they may be going through during the course of their recovery. He has been a professional musician and photographer, switching to healthcare in the mid-1990's. His experience as a medical professional includes a certification in hand therapy, and many years of experience working in burns, trauma, stroke rehabilitation and numerous other areas. These experiences help give him a unique perspective of what a person may be experiencing during recovery.
In his free time, Neil enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, cycling, playing music, training in martial arts, weightlifting, and exploring the beautiful Washington countryside.
